My neighbour lets his dog poo on our lawn everyday. This has been going on for 6-7 months. What would you do

I have spoken to the neighbour several times, has done nothing about it. I have requested he pick it up, he says later. I leave it there for 4 and 5 days, then I pick it up. I have a dog and I pick up after her, so I am not a dog hater.
I have been tempted to do some dreadful things.
Answers:
collect and put it on by his front door to step on. put it in a bag light the bag, ring the doorbell, watch him stomp the flaming bag of crap...
Pick it up and throw it onto his lawn. Not inside a bag all clean and tidy, but loose and smelly on his grass, so other dogs come by and want to mark there too...hehehe
I would bag the poo, dump it on his lawn, and leave a note saying, "I believe this is yours. Hate to see you lose it. No thanks needed. I was glad to get it back to it's rightful owner."
haha.
these answers made me laugh.
but what i did to my neighbor
was put the poo in a bag, write a note saying i am tired of your ****, tape it to the door, light the bag on fire. and he will get the picture.
There is a lady here in our gated subdivision who walks her husky every day 3 times a day. And never fails he either hikes his leg on one of my trees or drops turds on my front lawn. My front lawn is the only outside place I allow my 14 month old son to play because we have large dogs in the backyard (which we clean up after) and I'd hate for him to walk into or pick up some poo. Anyhow I talked to her a few times about it she'd always tell me she'd get it after they were done walking. She never did. So one day I picked it up. Put it in a paper sack. Went to her house, knocked on the door.and handed it to her said "This belongs to you"...She's not let him poo in my yard since.
I would make a fence around your yard and make sure that u have a gate so u can get in and out and then if he still poos in your yard i would flie a complaint that is what i would do!!!
Your neighbor sounds like a real jerk.

Now, it seems to me that there should be city ordinances about picking up after one's pet. See what you can find out about that. And if such an ordinance does in fact exist, lodge a complaint with the appropriate authorities.

Good luck!
Don't do anything dreadful.
Call animal control and they will give him a ticket.
Get him where it hurts...in his pocket.

Good luck
call the cops or move
Sccop it up and toss it back into his yard.close to the sidewalk perhaps...
Seriously, you can call the cops and have him arrested for criminal trespass or criminal mischief. Check with your county prosecutor's office and ask them for certain..I live in Ky and know that's what can be done here.
my uncle had the same problem he would pik up the poop n throw it in his yard...my dad told him to pik up the poop n throw it against his house. lol c if he cleans it up then [=
don't hurt the dog whats so ever!! please don't but call animlal cops or something and tell them that the dog owner isn't doing anything about it
and that u got a dog of ur own to take care of and not someone else's
Pick up the poo and put it on his lawn... I would write him a nasty letter... Some pepole are so rude and nasty they don't have no consideration for other people. Stop be nice play dirty. Then he will get th picture...
You've already discussed it with them so regular verbal communication isn't working. I have two suggestions.
1)Talk to them again, but this time bring the dog poo in a bag and as you explain to them why this bothers you hold the bag around head/shoulder level. Don't shove it in their face but, lift it high enough so that have to smell it.

2)Talk to them again and tell them your dog just got parvo or another fecal transmission related disease and tell them their dog could be at risk too.

I prefer 1 over 2, but if none if this will really help, I would do some dreadful things. Just don't get caught.(putting the poo on the door knob or anything)
put your dogs poop on their front door step see how they like it
Toss the poop on your neighbor's lawn or put the poop in a paper bag and put it on your neighbors door with a nice little note. Thats fair
Report him to the health department. He'll change his attitude when inspectors come by the house.
If he would do it again, try to talk to him again, nicely. Nice, solves every problem. If it doesn't work, first talk to your parents, then friends. But if neither of them won't work, call 911 and tell them about your un respectful neighbor.
Wait out there with a bag. Offer it to him. If he doesn't take it, and use it, then you pick up after the dog, follow him home (be obvious, make conversation, kill him with kindness as you walk).
When you get to his house. Drop the poop on HIS lawn.

Tell him you've had enough, that if he won't pick up after his dog, you will deliver not only his dog's poop, but your dog's poop as well. After all, he owes you a few poop scoops.
jus pick up the poo n return it to their rightful owners. if u catch them in the act then hand them a bag n tell them to clean it up now. if he says later again then jus fling it to their yard. u shouldnt haf to put up with this sort of nonsense
honestly...if youve already talked to the guy MORE THAN ONCE, if i were you I would pick up the dog poo, put it in a bag and leave it on their front steps! i know that sounds ridiculous and childish but itll surely get the point across. you might even want to leave a little note on the door that says "i dont like your dogs poo on my front lawn, and im sure you dont either. lets resolve this issue now and pick up the poo from now on" something like that...even leave a little box of baggies for picking up the poo, that way he has NO excuses!
Call the local police or the animal control. They will ticket him. Complain about the "health hazard", even if there is not one just to add fear in your story so the police will feel more obligated to help.
If he lives next door, fling it back into his lawn.
If not call the animal control, take a picture of his dog doing the deed over a few days, like a week, so they can see this happens alot or regularly and let them handle it...they will cite him for littering as by law you are to pick up after your dog. Having to pay fines for poop, well that is dreadful
I would pick it up and place it in a bag in her mail box with a note "Your dog forgot this on my property!"
Pick it up with a piece of card board and fling it over on THEIR lawn!
Pick up the crap and return it to him. Right on his door step. Next, place it outside his garage. Find places that he will step in it. Advise him that this will continue until he keeps his dog out of your yard.
I would have to be mean on this one. I mean if you have talked to him time and time again. There is only so much one can take. I would take it and collect a few bags, and leave them in the sun, and then dump them on his lawn when they are ripe. Just the thought makes me gag. You could always pick it up and put it where he walks everyday ( on his sidewalk, next to his car, in front of his garage door) I know it is mean, but some ppl deserve it.
If your neighbour has left something of his on your property, the only moral thing to do would be to give it back. Get your shovel full, and take it and leave it on his front porch or step. I wouldn't worry about putting it in a bag - he didn't leave it at your place with a bag.
